The Safer Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday 2nd April was deemed a huge success. Lots of children with Mums and Dads combed the beautiful gardens of Government House looking for Easter Eggs in the glorious sunshine.
Friends of Safer were delighted to be offered the Government House gardens by Sir Ian and Lady Corder. It was a perfect venue for an Easter Egg Hunt so we hope to be back there next year.
We would like to thank all our volunteers who helped make this happen. Here are some of the days highlights.
We are always looking for volunteers, so if you would like to Volunteer with Safer then please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Easter Bunny
The Safer Easter Bunny did a great job entertaining the children and helping them find their Easter Eggs.
Delicious Home made cakes
The Friends of Safer and volunteers excelled themselves in baking the most delicious and exotic cakes for the event. They went down a treat.
On the Hunt for the Golden Eggs
The children were given coloured Easter Baskets and at 11am they were off on the hunt for 6 eggs and special golden eggs for special prizes.
Face painting was very popular with the children with most of the children leaving the event as Tigers and Bunnies.
