Easter Egg Hunt Government House

Safer Easter Egg Hunt at Government House great success

The Safer Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday 2nd April was deemed a huge success. Lots of children with Mums and Dads combed the beautiful gardens of Government House looking for Easter Eggs in the glorious sunshine.

Friends of Safer were delighted to be offered the Government House gardens by Sir Ian and Lady Corder. It was a perfect venue for an Easter Egg Hunt so we hope to be back there next year.

We would like to thank all our volunteers who helped make this happen. Here are some of the days highlights.

We are always looking for volunteers,

Friends of Safer supporting Teenage Cancer Trust Guernsey

Friends of Safer were out in force to support the Guernsey Teenage Cancer Trust and the Hub at the Fashion Show at this weekend.

It was a terrific event with The Kings rock band as the finale. The models were superb with their cat walk debuts and the clothing lines were fabulous.

Find out more about the Teenage Cancer Trust and The Hub Guernsey.

This year the popular Walk a Mile in Their Shoes has been expanded and incorporated into the 16 Days of Action. The walk will start at Salerie Carpark, as usual, but this year we are being more inclusive, letting women and girls join in.

We also want to challenge you a bit more so have included the Walk a Mile in Their Shoes as a group walk for everyone entered into the 16 Days of Action. This group event starts at 10 am at the Salarie carpark and will finish at Castle Cornet on Saturday 26th November 2016.
