Friends of Safer was launched in May 2016 and works under the guidance of the Safer Board of Directors to raise funds for Safer, the Bailiwick of Guernsey’s domestic abuse charity. Its events also raise awareness of domestic abuse locally.
Friends of Safer is run by a group of volunteers who all have a passion for helping to tackle domestic abuse on the island.
Safer is committed to quality, equality and diversity.
Find out more about becoming a Friend of Safer below and complete the contact form for more information.
Become a Friend of Safer
The Friends of Safer organise events to raise money for Safer to continue its work helping victims of domestic abuse, preventing domestic abuse and raising awareness of domestic abuse.
We need people to join the Committee of the Friends of Safer, as well as people who might just want to organise an event or help out on a flag day.
You might just want to know when our next events are so that you can come or organise your friends and family to participate.
If you are able to help, or want to be put on our mailing list, please complete the contact form below and we will be in touch.
Become a Corporate Friend of Safer
If your company wants to help sponsor events or sponsor the work of Safer we would love to hear from you. You can call directly on 721999 or complete the contact form below.
Your company may also like to participate in events by buying a corporate table at a dinner or entering teams in the 16 Days of Action or holding a dress down day to raise money.
We would be happy to hear from anyone looking for a group project to help a charity as we have different jobs, such as decorating, that need doing from time to time. We would be happy to discuss any corporate social responsibility plans you might have.
