You can almost feel the relief to be getting home in Rounding the Point the 15th Guernsey poster print by artist Roy Tubby. The little fishing boat has got its sail up for stability as it goes through some swell in the lashing rain. The warm light is just above the horizon and gives a feeling that you will soon be in its welcome glow.
Ray, the artist’s son had the following to say about this picture. “This is St Martins point and shows an old crabber on its way back to its mooring in Saints bay rounding the point in a heavy swell. This is a part of the coast that dad knew well having spent many hours fishing for mackerel out on the bank not far from here.”
The print will look fantastic in your lounge, dining room, bedroom, office – just about anywhere! It will also look great with other pictures by Roy that we have on sale.
