This is a sparkling picture of St Sampson’s Harbour as the dawn is breaking which has been captured by Roy Tubby in Guernsey print 20. All of the little pleasure boats are in contrast to the working commercial harbour and the tanker in the background. St Sampson’s harbour has never looked so good.
Ray, the son of the artist, had the following to say about this picture. “This depicts the harbour before its charm was spoiled by making it a marina and dad would have seen it looking like this many times as he kept a boat moored here for quite a few years.”
The print will look fantastic in your lounge, dining room, bedroom, office – just about anywhere! It will also look great with other pictures by Roy that we have on sale.
