Two amazing atheletes are running their first half marathons for Safer. Sponsor Lisa Mahy and Charles Henry through the links below and cheer them on!

Lisa Mahy has been training hard to compete and is looking forward to hitting the road in the Father’s Day race.

It will be the first time that she will run over the 13 mile course and will be looking forward to getting to the Crown Pier and the finish line! If you would like to sponsor Lisa go to https://giving.gg/donate/event/3437/Guernsey-Half-Marathon—Lisa-Mahy

Easter Egg Hunt Government House

Safer Easter Egg Hunt at Government House great success

The Safer Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday 2nd April was deemed a huge success. Lots of children with Mums and Dads combed the beautiful gardens of Government House looking for Easter Eggs in the glorious sunshine.

Friends of Safer were delighted to be offered the Government House gardens by Sir Ian and Lady Corder. It was a perfect venue for an Easter Egg Hunt so we hope to be back there next year.

We would like to thank all our volunteers who helped make this happen. Here are some of the days highlights.

Friends of Safer supporting Teenage Cancer Trust Guernsey

Friends of Safer were out in force to support the Guernsey Teenage Cancer Trust and the Hub at the Fashion Show at this weekend.

It was a terrific event with The Kings rock band as the finale. The models were superb with their cat walk debuts and the clothing lines were fabulous.

Find out more about the Teenage Cancer Trust and The Hub Guernsey.
